CHARITIES
The two shelters we have decided to work with are The Salvation Army and The Hospitality House.
THE SALVATION ARMY
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in his name without discrimination.
THE HOSPITALITY HOUSE
The Hospitality House is an entity that is a charitable 501c3 organization. They reach out and serve those that are in poverty, the underprivileged and those that are in homeless situations. There mission is to provide services to those that are marginalized in order to help them become self-sustainable once again. They partner with other social service agencies in the Cedar Valley to help their guests get the services needed.
